How to Care

PLEASE BE SURE TO FOLLOW DIRECTIONS ON PACKAGING

Option #1 (Straight to Curly)

-When using a stove iron, heat it to a low warm temperature.

-When using an electric curling iron, set it to low or medium (always start on low)

-Take a section of hair and comb through it.

-Wrap sectioned hair around the iron and hold it for 10-15 seconds.

-For best results, spritz water unto wrapped hair, THEN slowly remove iron from hair, this will allow the hair to cool in shape of curl.

-Repeat above steps until desired style is achieved.

Option #2 (Curly to Straight)

-When using a stove iron, heat it to a low warm temperature.

-When using an electric curling iron, set it to low or medium (always start on low)

-Take a section of hair and comb through it.

-Using the heated iron, slowly move it down the sectioned hair.

-Repeat above steps until desired style is achieved.

Option #3

Mist the hair with a little plain water. Take a small strand of hair between clamp of curling iron and roll around barrel of iron. Keep hair moving around barrel, rolling evenly until all of strand has passed firmly under clamp. Don't rest iron on base of wig as it will create a roller mark. A slight steaming action will not harm fiber.

After curl is formed (not necessarily dry), remove the iron carefully, leaving the curl intact and being careful not to drag the ends out of the curl as this will make the curl uneven. If a looser curl is desired, work the hair with fingers while still warm. If a firmer curl is desired, let dry before combing.
Option #4
Heat rollers or a steam setter (such as a Caruso) may be used on synthetic fiber too. Roll each strand carefully around the roller keeping the ends smooth to reduce "fish-hooking", which makes the ends look fuzzy. Using end papers is recommended. Let the curls get completely cool before brushing or combing out the wig. If using the steam setters, it's a good idea to use a "duckbill" or other similar clip to hold the curls in until they're cool and dry.

I received the Champagne brand Alicia in the color F1010. Gorgeous wig!! It is not the 24 inches they advertise, but still long. I might put her more at 21 inches. On the other hand, I also ordered the Red Carpet Isis Monique and she is definitely 24 or more inches. Anyway, back to Alicia. The color is exceptional, a soft brown with light blonde highlights evenly distributed and no chunking of color. The wig will not last too long, as none of the curly styles really stay soft for me for long, but at her price, I can reorder every few weeks.

I find Alicia to be more comfortable than the Red Carpet Monique. Smaller cap and the lace back helps keep it very secure. I used tape only on the back. It is also a slightly softer lace which makes her easier to wear for long periods. This one is made from ALL Kanekalon instead of the kanekelon/toyokalon blend. I only wish she were the true 24 inches. I m ordering another one as a backup becasue of the comfort and the price.

I love this wig. Bought a wig similar to this one on a different site but was very disappointed in the quality of it.So I went looking for others to replace it and found this site. I saw this one and a few others on here but was very skeptical if I would like it & just didn't want to waste any more money. But I purchased it and am very happy that I did! I finger comb it out to get rid of the little shin that it had & some of the tight curls and I got the BIG long curly wavy texture that I love! Very minimum shedding so nothing to worry about. It is one of my new favorites & as soon as I can I am going to buy another! :-}

This wig is definitely one of the VERY BEST I've purchased, ever. The hair is high quality, the lace is soft -- this unit is just so realistic and beautiful.
